World Zionist Organization (WZO)
The World Zionist Organization or WZO, was founded as the Zionist Organization (ZO; 1897–1960) by Theodor Herzl at the First World Zionist Congress (Basel, Switzerland 1897). A movement and conference of itinerant aliens their sole purpose was to supplant the host people and to this end drafted a manifesto intent on strengthening Jewish feeling and consciousness, the unification of all Jews into local or general groups in the lands they were occupying, promoting the instillation of Jewish itinerants in Palestine all at the expense of the host through “governmental grants which are necessary to the achievement of the Zionist purpose.” Their goal is world dominance governed centrally from Palestine. Thus the agenda involved building an infrastructure that would lead to the Jewish seizure, continual occupation and largely gentile maintenance of that territory.
The WZO currently consists of the following bodies: The World Zionist Unions, international Zionist federations; and international organizations that define themselves as Zionist, such as WIZO, Hadassah, B’nai B’rith, Maccabi, the International Sephardic Federation, the three streams of world Judaism (Orthodox, Conservative, Reform), delegation from the CIS – Commonwealth of Independent States (some states of the former Soviet Union), the World Union of Jewish Students (WUJS), and more. The Jewish Agency is also a parallel organisation consequently it is possible to see the breath of coverage the Jewish tribe has over the global population.
