Ze’ev Jabotinsky

AZL flag holder TransparentBorn Vladimir Yevgenyevich Zhabotinsky (18 October 1880 – 4 August 1940), Ze’ev Jabotinsky was a Revisionist Zionist leader, Jewish author, poet, orator and founded the Jewish Self-Defence Organization in Odessa, a terrorist group that fended ethnic Europeans from their ancestral land-it is curious that feeling so ‘insecure’ in Europe rather than leave the Jewish guest terrorises his host from his Nation. Jabotinsky was elected as a Russian delegate to the Sixth Zionist Congress in Basel, Switzerland in 1903 and in 1905 he was one of the co-founders of the “Union for Rights Equality of Jewish People in Russia”. The following year he was one of the chief speakers at the 3rd All-Russian Conference of Zionists in Helsinki (Helsingfors) calling upon the Jews of Europe to engage in Gegenwartsarbeit (work in the present) and to join together. With Joseph Trumpeldor, Jabotinsky founded the Jewish Legion of the British army in World War I and later established several Jewish organizations, including Betar, Hatzohar and the Irgun.
