Jews in India
The earliest introduction India is believed to have had to the Jewish parasite is pirates from King Solomon’s time. The first major Jewish contaminations of India coincided with dispersions in 587 BC and 70 AD. Jews squatted in the Kingdom of Cochin on the Malabar Coast in South India now part of the state of Kerala. Their chutzpa makes them claim to be of that region. They also concocted a Judeo-Malayalam dialect similar in form to Yiddish and Ladino. Later Jewish dispersions (1492) learned Judeo-Malayalam, maintained trade connections to Europe, and their European language skills were very useful.
